Made at an extra heavy density to ensure improved resistance to collapse or sagging over time and the subsequent loss of insulating performance, that less dense insulation products can suffer from. We GUARANTEE it for the life of the building!! Plus, another great benefit of the heavier density is that it greatly improves the acoustic insulating effects, helping to create a quieter more comfortable home.
Polyester is a safe, non toxic, allergy friendly, lightweight material that has high tensile strength, robustness & is unaffected by moisture. Polyester Batts are itch free, contain no Formaldehyde Binders, require no protective clothing to install, making them a safe insulation option for you & your family. Polyester Batts also have a Zero Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) rating, contain negligible Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and 80% of the fibers that go into Polyester Batts are recycled from plastic bags & other packaging materials, so they are safer for the planet too. Polyester also meets the Australian Standard AS/NZS1530.3 for fire safety
